KEYS Commemorative Artwork by Talented Falcons

KEYS+Commemorative+Artwork+by+Talented+Falcons

To create the 2018 KEYS Mentoring Program Commemorative Artwork for Katy ISD, seniors Andrea Arrangoiz, Mya Stalnaker, Christina Zhou, Seanna McCarty, Claire Bai, Jaerin Jeong, Renee Josse de Lisle and Maddie Fossitt collaboratively worked for over 50 hours to craft the piece. Prints are made and sold to businesses for $1,000 or $2,500 for a canvas print to help raise scholarship money for students who have gone through the program.  These students worked hard by putting in time on nights and weekends to work as a team to create the magnificent piece of art. Art teacher Christie Skinner is extremely proud of her students and marks their accomplishment as one of the most rewarding experiences she has had in her 23 years of teaching. The original work will be gifted back to the campus to hang in the school for years to come.
