Best Haunted Houses to Visit This Halloween

As fall comes into season, fun October activities like haunted houses start to open up. If carving pumpkins and decorating the house hasn’t made the Halloween season thrilling enough yet, make sure and visit some of the locations around Houston that will surely provide a frightful evening to remember. Here are some of the best haunted houses in the area to go to at this time of year:

ScreamWorld- As one of the most popular haunted houses in Houston, ScreamWorld presents five different attractions that will have people running towards the exit. Maze of Maniacs, Skull Cave, the Edge of Darkness, Jake’s Slaughterhouse and the Zombie Graveyard are all of the houses that will be available when visiting this chilling location. The Maze of Maniacs is a special outdoor feature; it requires people to follow through a maze as dressed up residents stand in every corner ready to scare. When done with the maze, the other four attractions trail after each other in order. The haunted house is open on Sundays and Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays from 8 p.m. to midnight.
