On Oct. 22, Tompkins’ Science Olympiad team competed at the 10th annual Cy-Falls Invitational.
The meet was a state preview for the top Texas teams of the previous year, which included our team. All three teams taken to the meet finished in the top 10 out of 41 teams. The school team is ranked third overall, bringing them closer to being in the state’s top two, which could qualify them to attend national meets.
