The Tompkins Girls Cross Country team traveled to Huntsville on Saturday September 10, 2016 to compete in the Region 3 Preview.

The Varsity team placed 4th overall in the Elite division, with Cy-Woods as the only team ahead. With only a four point difference, the girls are quickly catching up to the first placers.

However, lightning caused a couple of delays before finally causing the meet to cancel; this prevented the JV girls to run.
