Speech and Debate TFA State Competition

The Speech and Debate Team competed at TFA State with great success. There were 224 schools from across Texas competing and each event had over 100 competitors. The team had 10 out of 18 students advance in seven different events and ended up placing third and sixth in Domestic Extemporaneous Speaking. Tompkins also received the “Top Ten Qualifying High School” for earning 26 state qualifications. Congratulations to the following students who placed in their respective categories.
