Congratulations to Freshman Elina Sinz who placed seventh in the UIL State Golf Tournament. She played extremely well shooting 70-75 against the best competition in the state. UIL said that there were 9,000 girl golfers in the state this year, and to finish seventh is a tremendous accomplishment. Seventh place also earns her the distinction of being on the ‘All-State’ team. Coach Chandler Simpson and Coach Jeff Mudd are very proud and are already looking forward to August when they can get back out on the course.
