The Speech and Debate Team completed another successful tournament at Bellaire High School this past weekend. The speech students competed in three preliminary rounds before advancing to semifinals and then to finals in individual and acting events. The debate students competed in five preliminary rounds before advancing to semifinals and finals. There were over 56 schools who participated, and Tompkins Speech and Debate brought home a first place tournament sweepstakes.
