The Tompkins Tractor Technician team competed Sunday, March 19, at the Houston livestock show and rodeo for the state competition.
Sunday was parts one and two of the competition which involves a 100 question test over tractors and a 100 question exam over 20 components that can be from any tractor ever made. Thirty teams were invited to compete through the state. Results show that the team is one of the top 10 teams that has been invited back to compete on Monday. They will be debugging a tractor with 5 bugs in it, in the main arena at the Houston livestock show and rodeo.
Team members are Blake Thomas, Trevor Sobocinski, and Colton Dieringer.
