Lake House: The Lake House is where private community parties and events can be held. It is very convenient for people who do not have the time to drive to a beach. Typhoon Texas: This amusement park is a great place to when you are bored. It has a variety of rides, including many to go with family or friends. The great thing about this place is that it has something to do for all ages. Along with a water slide, it has a  1,000 ft long lazy river. Tickets can be purchased on their website typhoontexas.com for $24.99. Typhoon Texas’ hours vary depending on the day.

Lonestar Jellystone Park: It is an award winning Texas park and is not very far from Houston. There are many enjoyable activities there such as playing in the waterpark, going on the lazy river, playing mini golf, jumping pillows, playground, sports courts, and more.
