This past weekend, FFA participated in the Fort Bend County Fair with the chance to show off their prized animals. Tompkins had four FFA members place in the top of their classes for various different categories and animals.
Carson Tisdel showed his goat, “Peanut”, and got 6th in his class, earning him a spot in the live freezer sale auction.
Brady Gonce showed his pig, “Chancely”, and got 10th in his class. Brady also got called back in to the ring for the showmanship round.
Blake Russell showed his pig, “Margy”, and got 4th in his class, earning him a spot in the live freezer sale auction.
Emily Summers showed her lamb, “Oscar”, and got 10th in her class, earning her a spot in the live freezer sale auction. Emily also got called back for the showmanship round.
FFA showed off a great deal of their skills and abilities in the latest fair, and their hard-work is sure to continue to show throughout their advancement in future tournaments.
