Guide to having a successful new year

“New year new me”, is a phrase a lot of people use to disintegrate the old wishes and resolutions in order to help improve themselves for that year. Usually people like to make lists on what they want and need to achieve to benefit themselves for their future. It is more of a motivation thing at the beginning of the year so people have things to look forward to accomplishing. The way to continue good practice and start a new practice is not easy and sometimes have a fall out in the middle of the year. Ways people maintain their resolutions and stay true to their word is simple, but not easy to start and be consistent with.

First off, having too many resolutions is like having too many jobs, no one can accomplish a lot of jobs in one sitting, it would need to be split up at different times and even sections of the year.

           Right amount

  1. That is where making the right amount of resolutions come in to play because people can then focus on just those wishes/goals instead of trying to come up with multiple wishes where it can stress the brain and body. It is very beneficial to make sure that resolutions are kept small and easy to accomplish, especially if there is more than one.

Small steps

  1. Once the idea is down of what is needed to accomplish then proceed to start with only small steps to reach it. It does not matter how long it takes, as long as it is accomplished and finished with priority. This will help limit wishes from being unrealistic and difficult to endeavor, leading to a much healthier resolution and a chance for that resolution to be efficient and fulfilled.

Support and consistency

  1. Finding support when trying to achieve a resolution and staying consistent is mainly the most important aspect of trying to accomplish goals and wishes. Even without the two important tips previously mentioned, goals and resolutions can still be accomplished and achieved when consistency and support of family, friends and even good acquaintances are present.

According to, taking on too much too quickly is a common reason why so many New Year’s resolutions fail. Starting an unsustainably restrictive diet, overdoing it at the gym, or radically altering your normal behavior are surefire ways to derail your plans. Instead, focus on taking tiny steps that will ultimately help you reach your larger goal.

Those two things are very vital in the world even if there is no achievement in a simple resolution, it helps progress the human brain and body because of all the development and encouragement the person is going through. Having a new year resolution is definitely a tradition for the betterment of humans. It sets boundaries, rules and persistence to benefit whoever set those resolutions. People who set resolutions do not always accomplish it and that is okay, but going into the new year without any set goals and wishes that are wished to be accomplished is a negative mentality and can sum up the person, and shall no one have to go through a negative mentality, especially in a new year.
